On the corner of George and Russell streets in Bathurst, this cafe is a real gem. We received a warm welcome, and enjoyed a light lunch of coffee and toasties - just perfect. The fact that the place was packed with people is testament to the obvious popularity of the cafe - which from our experience is much deserved.

Very busy. Apologised for the slower service but we were happy to wait. It was lovely to be acknowledged that we were waiting. Food was fresh and lovely. Coffee, delicious as was the orange juice.
Outstanding! How lucky are the locals to have a cafe of this standard in your city. Was travelling through Bathurst and decided on a late breakfast at this cafe. Warm friendly greeting in a busy cafe . Served promptly with coffees arriving soon followed by our breakfast selections. The corn fritters were amazing and my partners double egg and bacon roll got the thumbs up as well . Coffee was also excellent. Couldn’t not fault anything and deserved my 5 stars
We shared our Vegetarian breakfast this morning with awesome coffee's. Our 2nd time here travelling through Bathurst and it highly recommended to everyone! Food is large portions, delicious quality, lovely staff and a great start to your day! We will be back. Thanks
Lovely cafe with fantastic coffee and breakfast. Serving is quick and all the ladies are lovely. They also have a few coloring pencils and paper to keep your child occupied.
Was amazing brekky, had the hashbrown stack and I'm not sure where I'll get that plus smoked salmon in the states at the same time. Juice was good too!
Dropped into Country Coffee in Bathurst this morning and kicked things off with the poached eggs and smoked salmon… but had to pull the pin halfway through after finding two bones in the salmon. Now that’s on the supplier, not the café. What mattered was how they handled it, and I’ve gotta say, their customer service was absolutely 5-star. Elyshia, who was serving me, was straight onto it took photos, alerted the kitchen, contacted the supplier immediately. No excuses, no attitude, just genuine concern and professionalism. The coffee? Bang on. I’m not a fan of Vittoria beans never have been but whoever was behind the machine this morning knew exactly what they were doing. Smooth, balanced, and made properly. For round two, I ordered the cheesy corn fritters with crispy bacon, grilled tomato, avocado, a poached egg and sweet chilli drizzle. Everything made in-house. Mate… 10 out of 10. Absolute flavour bomb. Couldn’t fault a single thing on that plate. The whole team here is friendly, approachable, and on the ball. They handled the issue with my first meal perfectly and made it right without hesitation. That’s what real hospitality looks like. Outback Rustic Kitchen definitely recommends Country Coffee Bathurst if you don’t already visit. And yes — get in early. Their reputation is well known, and they’ve earned every bit of it. Fabulous gluten free banana bread and berries for brunch. Knowledgeable and friendly service. Great table outside with wonderful views across the park and city architecture.
One of only three cafés in town who I will order coffee from and the single café I will order tea from, Country Coffee make stellar drinks and scrumptious food. I can't recommend this place enough. The team are always very polite and welcoming and they keep the restaurant clean. Service is prompt, even when busy. The only thing for me is just that they're very popular, so it's often very busy in the restaurant and I personally like quieter spots.
